Makeup and Brushes

I do not know you girls but I get The crisis with all of this makeup brushes, they are son long, so different that I don’t know which one is best.

Well experts says that it is necessary to have mini brushes, a small version of the brushes used by makeup professionals.

I do not deny it, the results of the makeup with brushes are visible, the finish is much better, I have seen it with my own eyes. But the problem is they are not always easy to use, specially for us, ordinary mortals, the professionals have no problem with it, of course they are professionals. That’s why they recommends using these mini versions that are much easier to handle and to start are very well. Many brands launch kits with mini sizes. The brushes are shorter and make a small selection of the essential. But be careful on the quality of the hair. Dior and Mac are highly recommended for their very good quality hair.

Today I was watching a video on the site of Yahoo that has impacted me. In the video Susan Jesko, former Miss America talks about the chemical ingredients in cosmetic products that can affect your health. She said that one day she went to go her doctor for problems with her skin, specifically on his scalp and skin of the neck. When she shows her doctor the products that she was using, he was able to identify that there were many chemical ingredients that was affecting her health. The toxins that cause these products were deposited on her face out from the top of his head and neck. Unfortunately these chemical ingredients had found in many products we use in the United States and only 10 are recognized as chemical substances that can affect the health versus 150 that the the European Union has already acknowledged. She said there is a 12 chemicals list that are harmful to the health are and we must avoid.

Makeup spring-summer 2009

March 04, 2009 By: admin Category: Makeup, Other

With spring also comes new trends and the makeup can not be left behind. In this new season comes with makeup shades fresh, soft and full of optimism. There will pink cheeks pulling a little red tones. The eyes will take strong tones (type 80s). They come in many shades of fuchsia aquamarine.

Here some examples:

As we can see the red lips are back to impose. But no longer red cherry tones but rather more vivid colors, like coral, fuchsia, shades of red wine and tomatoes. This type of makeup is very good at evenings as well for who want to bring a sexy image.

Here is the naked face make-up kind that makes us seem like we have nothing. This style is also carried on this summer. To achieve this effect you only have to get a base (of course the tone of your skin) then you put a little brown shadow on the eyelids, if you don’t want to see you so pale apply a bit of pink in the cheeks, a lip gloss and you are ready.

The other trend that we suggest for this spring-summer is to accentuate the contours of the face. Applying makeup properly can accentuate cheekbones by examples or refine the nose.

Super long eyelashes

In this new season will take either the long and thick eyelashes. No matter whether are false or painted black or brown, but must be long, border, well and sexy. For open more your eyes and give a touch of sensuality.

Bright pastel colors for your eyes

This one lets you play new trend with pastel tones, neutral colors are left behind this season, so it is our imagination..

Smokey Eyes

This is one of my favorite styles I like it because accentuate the eyes. Especially dramatic colors. To get this smokey eyes look use colors like indogo-blue (or dark blue) and brown or black and you will get this dramatic smoky eyes effect.

Pink cheeks

If you do not normally make up the cheeks and it’s time to do so. This season will be used many shades of pink on the cheeks giving an angelic image, an image of freshness and younger.

Beauty: hidden flaws

February 18, 2009 By: admin Category: Makeup

Hi all, I recently found an article about hiding imperfections in the face with makeup. Come on! … Who of us do not have any little thing that you would like to hide. Here is the article:

Beauty hidden: hidden flaws

Every problem has a solution. Sometimes even the most beautiful have to help nature. These tricks can save you: Continued below:

Thin eyebrows
If you take out most of necessary hair or if simply you have some clear shades in the eyebrows you can use same eyes shadow color of your eyebrows or a little darker. You can use eyebrow pencil, but the dust is more natural. Then brush the eyebrows.

Thin or short hair
If for some reason you do not like the haircut, or feel you need more volume put you extensions.

If you hair down and have some areas with little hair you can put eye shadow to the scalp with a color similar to your hair. This covers a little and gives the illusion of more hair.

If you see a grey hair or a hair in other color
Paint with a mask similar to hair color. Is not perfect but it helps.

You see the veins or scars on the legs
If you have varicose veins and you want wear a short dress you can try leg makeup, if you do not have it try with a normal foundation with the same color of your skin. Of course you can use standard or designs pantyhose.

If you get a pimple.
Put something cold to calm and you can take a chamomile tea. Put a drop of bringing the eyes to remove the red. Wait a few minutes. Now to cover the pimple: Apply foundation a little darker than your skin on the pimple (just at the tip) and the normal color in the rest of the pimple. This makes is look less.

Another option: You can use a little green corrector directly on whether the red pimple but be careful to apply only on the pimple, after apply foundation.

Dark circles
First used foundation across the face this covers it completely. If it does not get fixed apply concealer only on the dark circles (one or two shades lighter your skin) and translucent powder and then put your eye makeup.

Want more drama
Put lashes extensions. This will give you immediate drama.

Put some shine to your body cream. Add a little bright powder can be for body, face and golden shadows. Then put you the cream in places like the shoulders.
