Today marks the day of thanksgiving. I do not know how many countries are celebrating this occasion in the world. What I learned about Thanksgiving is a day to thank God for all the good things he has done for us, a day to meet your family, enjoy a good turkey and meditate on all the good things that life gives us.

It is very true that to thank God we should not expect a specific day each year to do so, we should thank God every day, but Thanksgiving is a special day because it is shared with family and friends, thank together all good things and maybe some bad things partly because they are the bad experiences that make us grow as human beings.

Happy Thanksgiving Day to all my friends in Puerto Rico and the United States

With each passing day thanks to my profession as a personal trainer and Reiki master I have been fortunate to have contact with so many people so rich inside which left me with a great education both spiritually and materially, like learning to live a fuller life and enjoy every moment of life.

In this article I hope to capture a positive thought to convey the desire to continue gambling to life.
I see around me as we live and we do so badly, no one stops to think for a moment that our life is fast and fleeting, all live with a thought of eternity, of course that’s not bad, but that really makes us lose focus real life, now I wonder and I ask you: have you actually asked what are we doing in this life? What is really the true essence of this life?

Today we live busy with our jobs and careers and totally concerned about our future and the world economic swings and hits us in the pursuit of material things, we forgot to stop and enjoy the emotions, family, children, friends, and all that beautiful that we have and do not appreciate and when we lose it then we realize the value they had.

We believe in building the future and forget about everything that matters today, I also see how the material destroy families, that happens to us because we do not realize how valuable are the things we can not buy,  you can not buy love,  friends can not be purchased, nor the good times.

Many friends who today are fighting against a terminal illness and others who have gone, in memory of Martin a friend who struggle to the end and left at 17 years old of this world, left me a great education, we must enjoy what we do, our time is short here on earth.

We must save the family, listen and understand our children, fill the emptiness, there is the worth of life , full of affection and love, to live that way is the key to all my friends so that left and others who are fighting, we love everything we do, live fully, to correct the emotional problems of our childhood, change our upbringing, living in peace with what we generate, learn to be happy with what we have.

Miguel another friend who is leaving for prostate cancer has taught me, you have to enjoy, everything must be a passenger, you have to stop worrying and dealing and try to be happy in this life.

The mystery of our life is to find happiness in every way possible, we must stop complaining and get in role of victims and be protagonists of our own lives in pursuit of happiness. If I have arrived with this message my mission is accomplished

Today I was watching a video on the site of Yahoo that has impacted me. In the video Susan Jesko, former Miss America talks about the chemical ingredients in cosmetic products that can affect your health. She said that one day she went to go her doctor for problems with her skin, specifically on his scalp and skin of the neck. When she shows her doctor the products that she was using, he was able to identify that there were many chemical ingredients that was affecting her health. The toxins that cause these products were deposited on her face out from the top of his head and neck. Unfortunately these chemical ingredients had found in many products we use in the United States and only 10 are recognized as chemical substances that can affect the health versus 150 that the the European Union has already acknowledged. She said there is a 12 chemicals list that are harmful to the health are and we must avoid.

Definitely there are people who are very lucky, the adage that money is not manna from heaven does not apply to some people. Susan Wells won a house worth two million dollars two days after her husband lost his job as a sales executive in a high tech company in Silicon Valley. The ticket was bought for the raffle to give a surprise for her husband’s wedding anniversary number 16 … … yes she gives a surprise to her husband and a very big one!

Wells still have not decided what to do, but Brad Wells can now say that the money has been a blessing. “I was fired on Wednesday and Friday, the company went bankrupt”

The draw was held by Community Action Marin, in California. With 1.3 million, two million last year. “In this economy, we are still blessed,” said Russ Hamel, director of development for the group, a private organization of social services.

Susan Wells said he celebrated with a nice dinner at home with their neighbors. “We will take a very good bottle of champagne.”
