Perfumes

In this introductory article on perfumes, I should mention that I love the perfumes. I like much more than perfume the shoes, can you believe me? Well if it’s true I really like it more than the shoes and I have ready a collection of them. For me there is nothing better than a perfume that others can notice and tell me how rich i smell. Anyway, I have a collection of perfumes and I use them depending on the day or night, event or occasion.

I believe that there is nothing better than a good perfume to stir passions. Well, in the the world of perfumes there are 3 notes and the notes are not otherwise the oils that make perfumes, each get a smell or get a different note in each of the stages of evaporation: these stages are 3 and this is what we call notes.

1) Top Note
This note is usually mild and consist of citrus and aromatic ingredients. It is the first impression gives us the perfume, its purpose is to impact those who smell. It does not last more than fifteen minutes.

2) Average rating
Also known as the heart, has the main ingredients of the fragrance and determines the true spirit of the perfume. Its aroma is seen minutes after application, and may last up to four hours.

3) Note the background or base
It is the perfume fixative, which allows the fragrance to smell for several hours or even days. Its function is to determine the components of the notes.

Types of perfumes

At present we can distinguish between 5 types of fragrances depending on the concentration which has to do with the raw materials used to create the fragrance.

1) extract or perfume: it has higher concentration of aromatic essence, it goes from 18% and can reach up to 40% alcohol mixed with high alcohol content.

It usually occurs in small bottles and has a very intense aroma. It requires only a few drops on the wrists, behind the ear, among others, to be perfumed. Experts recommend applying it with the cap, not fingers, to avoid contamination.

2) Eau de Parfum:
It contains a lower percentage of aromatic essences mixed with alcohol usually 90 ° Between 10% and 19%. You can use every day, in greater amounts than the extract and in the same areas than this. Almost always more expensive than Eau de Toilette.

3) Eau de Toilette:
is the lighter version in the family of perfumes, ideal for casual wear. It has a concentration ranging between 5% and 10% of aromatic oils in alcohol usually 85 ° and 2% of essence. Experts recommend not apply to the skin but on clothing.

4) Eau de Cologne:
for many the best option for daily use because it is the most refreshing and diluted version. It has a much lower concentration, between 3% and 5%, mixed in water and 70 per cent alcohol and its duration is less than the Eau de Toilette.

5) Eau Fraîche:
lighter and more refreshing than Eau de Cologne so many houses have launched it like a fragrance ideal for those who practice outdoor activities. He has a heart rate of between 1% and 3%, the latest versions do not contain alcohol to prevent skin spots. For the softness of its aroma can be applied several times a day.
