How to protect your Teflon Pans
This non-stick material, with which are now manufactured pots and pans are great but has its own secrets to keep it in good condition for a long time and that the pieces always look like new.
To achieve this today we bring you several tips for you to put into practice.
When buying a Teflon pan, wash, dry and then cover with a layer of oil, put it over low heat a few minutes. Then, rinse with hot water, dry and save it. This will allow to remain intact for several uses.
Before cooking for the first time, rub the surface with a finite layer of margarine or oil to prevent food from sticking. Very important, you can not use metal utensils to stir because it may scratch the nonstick coating they have. Use wooden spoons and ladles, skimmers made of plastic or, better yet, teflon.
